Why Us

Why Work With
Integrated Behavioral Health

.

I believe therapy & assessments should be a collaborative process between the client and the therapist.

At Integrated Behavioral Health, our goal is to help families feel more confident and to have the resources they need. We support you in riding the ups and downs of parenting, while helping you navigate the complex landscape of having a child with unique needs.

When you’re facing anxiety or uncertainty about how to parent effectively, it can be overwhelming to balance all the competing priorities. You might struggle to find a parenting approach that aligns with your values and helps you feel connected and capable. We’re here to help you understand and meet your child’s unique needs while staying true to yourself.

We support the emotional well-being of parents as individuals too. This includes stress management, identity shifts, relationship strain, and burnout. When caregivers feel supported and grounded, the entire family benefits.

With over a decade of combined experience, we offer therapy and evaluations that are grounded in evidence-based practices, collaborate with professionals and individuals working with your child, and provide comprehensive recommendations to help you or your child thrive. We guide you through handling the toughest challenges, providing you with practical tools and strategies that foster confidence and fulfillment in your journey.

We believe the therapeutic process should be:

Empathetic

Being a parent can feel overwhelming, especially with the flood of information from social media and parenting books. We meet you and your child exactly where you are and offer compassion and empathy to help you move forward.

Evidence-based

Our diverse therapy methods and assessments are all rooted in evidence-based practices. Our goal is to help you and your child make tangible progress and feel empowered to navigate daily life confidently, even beyond therapy.

Values-based

Every family, child, and parent are different. What is okay for one parent is not okay for another parent. We make sure that we understand your family’s values and come alongside to support them rather than prescribing one type of approach to a situation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Integrated Behavioral Health is considered an “Out of Network” provider, and we do not bill insurance directly. We can provide a statement of services (e.g., superbill) for you to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. We are able to check your out-of-network benefits to see if your insurance will provide any reimbursement. Some insurance companies will pay at least a portion of these costs after your deductible is met, but we cannot guarantee reimbursement for services. Additionally, we have providers with a range of rates. Ask about each provider’s rates to see who may be a good fit!

We are not in-network with Medicaid, and Medicaid does not allow subscribers to see out-of-network providers. If you have Medicaid, please contact your plan for in-network providers.

Therapy costs vary depending on the provider and their level of experience. The cost ranges from $215-$235.

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have or use insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or a picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the Colorado Division of Insurance at 303-894-7490 or 1-800-930-3745.

Assessment costs vary depending on the number and severity of concerns being addressed. Evaluations for concerns not related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) range from $2,500 to $3,950. If evaluating for ASD is part of the process, the cost ranges from $3,750 to $4,600.

While we are out-of-network providers, we can check your out-of-network benefits to determine if any of the assessment costs will be covered. Additionally, we are pleased to accept the CareCredit health and wellness credit card. CareCredit lets you say “yes” to recommended treatment and pay for it in convenient monthly payments that fit your budget.

In-person services are available out of our Denver and Greenwood Village offices. Serving Parker, Centennial, Lone Tree, Englewood, and surrounding communities. During your intake appointment, you can determine the best format that will work for your family. Some families prefer telehealth because of scheduling, distance, and flexibility. Others prefer to be seen in person or use a hybrid approach. Additionally, there are certain types of therapy (e.g., PCIT) that work better over telehealth. All of these factors will be taken into account when determining the best approach for your family.

As with many things, it depends. On average, treatment usually lasts between 10-20 sessions. However, sometimes as we start to work together or make progress, new concerns may arise. For instance, maybe we are working through anxiety and then a child finds out they are going to be switching schools. This may be a reason for more sessions. Additionally, once a relationship is established, there are cases where we finish working on our current goals and then take a break or touch base if needs arise in the future.

Appointments must be canceled 48 hours in advance, excluding holidays and weekends. For instance, if calling to cancel a Monday appointment, the cancellation must be made by Friday. If canceling over a holiday, the holiday itself does not count as normal business hours. In the case of a late cancellation, a full session charge will be made directly to the office by the client.

If you can reschedule for the same week by using the online portal, calling the office, or emailing the office or your therapist, you will not be charged. If there are no available appointments or none of the open times work for you (and you still can’t make your appointment), you will be charged the full amount of the session.
